Privacy notice
Sthir is a small company building a spoon for people with tremor. This page says what we collect when you join the list, why, and what you can ask us to do. It is meant to be read.
Who we are
Sthir, founded by Shashwat Agarwal. You can reach us at shashwat@staysthir.com.
What we collect, and why
- Your email. To send you one welcome email when you join, and to tell you when there is real news about the product. Nothing else.
- Who the list place is for (you, or someone you love). To understand who we are building for.
- Type of tremor, if you choose to say. This is health information, so it is optional. We use it only in totals, to learn what to build. We never sell it or share it.
- Your language. To show the page in English or Hindi.
- Whether you would like a short chat. Only if you tick the box. We would email you first.
- A record that you agreed, with the date and time.
We do not take payment on this page and we do not ask for card details.
Anonymous page statistics
We count which parts of the page get read and which buttons get pressed, so we can make it clearer. These counts use a random code that exists only in your browser tab and disappears when you close it. They are not linked to your email. We do not use cookies or advertising trackers, and we do not store your IP address (it is only used, in scrambled form, to stop spam).
Who handles your data
Our website host (Hostinger) stores the list. Cloudflare may sit in front of the site to keep it fast and secure and to tell us roughly which country a visit comes from. They handle data for us and for no other purpose. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it. If we stop building the product, we will delete the list.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop emailing you. Write to the address above and we will do it. You can also unsubscribe from any email we send.
Your agreement
We contact you only because you agreed when you joined. You can withdraw that agreement at any time, and it will not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
Children
This page is for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to join for you.
Changes
If we change this notice in a way that matters, we will say so on this page and, if you are on the list, by email.
